Release candidate 1.0.0

StitchPress: decoration orders your shop can actually produce.

A WooCommerce plugin for embroidery and screen-print shops. The customer picks a placement on the garment, adds text or a logo, picks thread or ink from your own chart, and pays a price the server set. You get a proof the customer approved and a Job Jacket your embroiderer can work from.

Why placements, not a canvas

A canvas designer lets the customer draw anything. Then the shop has to work out whether it can be stitched.

01

The server prices the design

Embroidery by placement and size, screen printing by ink count and quantity. Where an area has a real width, the size the customer draws sets the price band. Setup fees are counted once per job across the cart.

02

Proof rounds with a production hold

Proofs go out through a signed link. The customer approves or asks for changes, and the order waits until a round is approved. A change that costs more becomes a linked balance order.

03

A Job Jacket, not a screenshot

Placement, size, thread or ink by code and name, fonts used, the artwork download, the approved proof, stitch or screen estimates. Print one, or batch print the queue.

04

The order is data

Placement, size, colours, text, typeface and artwork reference live on the order line. Edit or delete a template later and old orders still print the same way.

It ships no fonts and no colour library. You upload the fonts your shop holds licences for and import your own thread or ink chart. Pantone is never bundled. Nothing about your orders passes through our servers.

Questions

Straight answers

Does it replace Fancy Product Designer?

For shops with fixed decoration areas (left chest, full back, cap front, sleeve), yes: StitchPress takes the order, prices it on the server, runs the proof and prints the Job Jacket. For all-over print, photo filters or free drawing, a canvas designer is the better fit and StitchPress will not grow those features.

Can I try it?

A demo store (order a decorated cap, then see the queue and the Job Jacket as the shop) opens with the product site. Until then, book a call and we will walk you through it on staging.

What happens when the licence expires?

Nothing stops working. Designer, templates, orders, proofs and Job Jackets keep running. Updates and support stop until you renew.

Is it GPL?

Yes, GPLv2 or later. You pay for updates, support and the StitchPress name, not for permission to run the code.

Run a decoration shop on WooCommerce?

Twenty minutes with the developer who wrote StitchPress. Bring a cap and a thread chart; we'll show you the order on staging.
