WooCommerce developer

Hire a WooCommerce developer who actually ships.

Hand-coded store builds, replatforms, and rescues — done by the person writing the code, not a project manager relaying tickets to an offshore queue. Fixed scope, direct line, based in South Florida.

Engagements

Four ways a WooCommerce developer actually helps you.

New store builds

Custom WooCommerce theme, product architecture, payments, shipping, tax, transactional email, and an abandoned-cart flow. Live in 4–8 weeks. See the full scope on our e-commerce page.

Replatforms & migrations

Off Shopify, Squarespace, InkSoft, or a bespoke closed platform — products, customers, order history, and SEO redirects moved with a cutover plan that avoids downtime.

Rescues & audits

Broken checkout, plugin conflicts, a store from a developer who vanished, or a theme that fell over on the last Woo update. We audit, stabilize, and take over.

Speed & conversion work

Slow product pages, low PageSpeed scores, or a checkout that leaks orders. Measured before, measured after, so you can see the money the fix is worth.

A marketplace freelancer disappears. An offshore agency stacks a project manager between you and the code. We are the developer. The person on the call is the person writing the theme.

01

Written line by line

No Elementor, no Divi, no store-theme with 30 plugins glued around a demo. Just a hand-coded WooCommerce theme built for your catalog.

02

Fixed scope, in writing

Every engagement gets a written scope and price before work begins. No hourly meter, no mystery invoice at the end.

03

Bilingual when it matters

English and Spanish stores done properly — parallel content, correct language switching, not a translation widget bolted on.

04

Your code, your store

Your domain, your hosting, your database. No proprietary builder lock-in and no monthly platform rent that grows with your success.

How pricing works

Published tiers, or a fixed quote in writing.

Two ways this goes. A full WooCommerce store fits our published Commerce tier — from $5,000, including product loading, payments, shipping, tax, transactional email, and abandoned-cart recovery. Anything narrower — a migration, a rescue, a specific integration, a speed pass — gets a fixed-scope quote in writing after a 20-minute call. You approve the number before we start. That is the whole invoice.

After launch, most stores continue on our Commerce care plan — monthly test orders, payment checks, checkout walk-throughs, Woo and plugin updates, and backups. Stores where downtime costs real money get monitored like they do.

Who this is for

The right fit for a Valtech WooCommerce engagement.

A

New store, done properly

You are launching a product line and want a store that looks like your brand, not a theme demo with your logo on it.

B

Moving off a rented platform

Shopify or Squarespace fees are climbing, you cannot design what you want, and you are ready to own the store.

C

Inherited a mess

A previous developer disappeared, the site is fragile, and orders are slipping through cracks nobody can find.

D

Established store, needs an upgrade

The store works but conversion is flat, PageSpeed is embarrassing, or a big campaign is coming and it has to hold.

Questions

Asked before every engagement.

How much does it cost to hire a WooCommerce developer?

Full WooCommerce store builds start at $5,000 — up to 50 products loaded, payments, shipping, tax, transactional email, and abandoned-cart recovery included. Focused engagements — migrations, checkout rescues, plugin work — get a fixed-scope quote in writing before we start. See the full scope on our e-commerce page or the tier breakdown at /#plans.

Do I get to talk to the actual developer?

Yes — you talk to the person writing the code. No account managers, no offshore hand-offs, no ticket queue. Emails and calls land directly with your engineer, and decisions get made in the same conversation instead of a week later.

Can you take over a WooCommerce site someone else built?

Yes. Broken checkout, plugin conflicts, slow product pages, a store from a developer who vanished — we audit, stabilize, and take over. Send the URL and admin access and we can quote a fixed scope within a few days.

Why hand-coded WooCommerce, not a store theme?

Store themes ship with plugin stacks that slow the checkout, break on WooCommerce updates, and lock you into someone else's opinions about product pages. A hand-coded theme loads faster, ranks better, converts more, and does not collapse the first time you update Woo. See how we build the rest of the site for the same reasoning applied everywhere.

Do you only work with South Florida businesses?

We are based in South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach — and happy to meet in person. The whole engagement also runs remotely for stores anywhere in the US, in English or Spanish.

Hire the developer, not a middleman.

Twenty minutes on a call. You will know exactly what building or fixing your store looks like, and what it costs, before you leave the meeting.
